The Avara OMP8805/8810/8816 Multi-Service Access Platforms deliver industry-leading MPLS-TP with pseudowire capabilities in compact formats with the ability to cross connect, groom and aggregate multiple services onto 1G, 10G and 40G packet transport infrastructure.
They have been specifically designed to provide a compact solution for transporting switched Ethernet and E1 circuits over packet based MPLS-TP networks for mission critical, high availability applications. Using SAToP & CESoP over Pseudowire technology, the OMP platform provides support for a full complement of legacy services including E1, VF E&M, Local Battery, FXS, FXO, Serial, G.703/64K and C37.94. Additionally, the platform supports voice & data broadcast and summing services together with data grooming functionality providing an ideal transition to packet systems whilst maintaining support for legacy applications. A full complement of Ethernet based data service is also supported enabling critical infrastructure providers to support existing legacy OT networks whilst migrating their network to support IP devices.
